How to Vote

The next municipal election will be conducted by telephone and internet voting, with voting open 24 hours a day from October 19 to October 26, 2026. Eligible electors will have the opportunity to vote for their local council and school board representatives.

2. Internet and Telephone Voting

The Township will be using secure internet and telephone voting for the 2026 municipal election in October. Eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter with instructions and a unique PIN closer to the voting period.

Individual PINs will be mailed to eligible electors to arrive approximately seven (7) days prior to the first voting day.

The Voter Information letter will provide details on how to vote online or by phone.

Electronic and telephone voting stations will also be available at the Municipal Office and other locations during the defined voting period for public use.

1. Voters’ List – Confirm or Update Your Information

Elections Ontario maintains the Permanent Register of Electors for Ontario, also known as the Voters List, which is used for both provincial and municipal elections.

You can confirm, update, or add your information if you:

  • Have changed your name or address

  • Own or rent a new property

  • No longer own or rent a property

  • Want to remove your information from the Register
